The procurement function helps the Commission meet its service delivery requirements efficiently, cost-effectively and accountably. It abides by the 2008 State Government procurement policy. Doing so promotes the objectives of the policy, which are to advance government priorities, achieve value for money, and ensure probity, accountability and sustainability in Queensland Government procurement processes.
