Racing industry legislation in QLD -review 2019

The Minister for Racing the Hon Stirling Hinchliffe announced a review  of the legislation and framework that govern racing integrity in Queensland on 26 June 2019. 

Racing industry participants and community members were invited to participate in the review.

Get involved

Members of the public and industry participants were invited have their say on the effectiveness of the current Racing Integrity Act 2016 by submitting responses to questions in the discussion paper.

The deadline for responses was extended by one week to 26 August 2019 and has now closed.

The views and experiences of the Queensland racing community are vital to this process.

The Queensland Government will consider the outcomes of this review and provide a response.
