The Commission was proud to partner with the University of Queensland to develop an off-the-track horse information hub.
This hub is a collaborative effort with dedicated academics, clinicians, and professionals from the University of Queensland’s Animal Science team.
Packed full of stories, educational articles, videos, and links the hub is a resource for people who have or are looking to adopt an off-the-track Thoroughbred or Standardbred horse.

Queensland Off-the-Track
Racing Queensland’s Queensland Off-The-Track program was established to maximise aftercare outcomes for retiring Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds.
The program provides education, an acknowledged retrainers program, subsidised lessons program, and event sponsorship.
