Thoroughbred and Standardbred Race Related Injuries

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (the Commission) publishes reports for Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing horses in Queensland which cover the following information:

  • Injuries to horses that have occurred during racing.
  • Any injuries to horses present at racetracks for the purposes of racing, whether these horses have started in a race or not.
  • Retirement, death, and euthanasia of racing horses as reported by owners during this reporting period, where these are available.

The publication of these datasets supports the Commission’s commitment to reporting racing animal welfare data in a transparent manner.
