From 31 March 2023 – Other decisions
Decisions that are not racing decisions (decisions of stewards under the rules of racing) will continue to proceed through the internal review process (as outlined below). The majority of these decisions will be licensing decisions (such as a decision to refuse to grant or renew a licence).
Other decisions that are not racing decisions, and will continue to be reviewed by the internal review process include:
- The seizure of an animal under the Racing Integrity Act 2016;
- The forfeiture of an animal; or
- The giving of an animal welfare direction.
