Reviews and Appeals

From Friday, 31 March 2023 the Racing Appeals Panel will be in operation.

The new Racing Appeals Panel will replace the majority of internal review decisions made by the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission and the majority of Queensland Civil Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) appeals relating to decisions of the Stewards made under the Rules of Racing. Up until 31 March 2023, all decisions made by Queensland Racing Integrity Commission stewards and all licensing decisions will continue to proceed through the internal review process (as outlined below).

From 31 March 2023, depending on the decision, different processes will apply as outlined below.
