On 2 August 2019 the applicant Frank Edwards filed with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal), an application to review the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (the Commission) internal review decision 0067-19 of 2 August 2019.
The Tribunal, on 2 October 2019, invited the Commission, pursuant to s23(1) of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2009 (Qld) (the Act), to reconsider the decision subject to review.
On 2 October 2019, the Commission, in accordance with s23(2) of the Act, reconsidered the internal review decision resulting in the following decision:
- The applicant is guilty of breaching Australian Rule of Racing 131(a) and the period of suspension is amended from a period of ten (10) days to a period of seven (7) days.
