Registration
Thoroughbred Registrations provides a range of services to industry participants. These services include:
- Changes/Transfer of Ownership of racing animals, including
- Syndicates
- Registration of Syndicates
- Registration of Leases
- Registration of Racing Colours
The processing of paper-based forms for Thoroughbred Registrations is now through Racing Australia. Forms and payments must be lodged to Racing Australia to deputyregistrar@racingaustralia.horse or phone 1800 870 799.
Do not make payments to QRIC for thoroughbred applications. Pay Racing Australia as it is responsible for these payments as part of its processing requirements.

Initial ownership registration is facilitated by Racing Australia. Approved forms and associated payments are to be submitted directly to Racing Australia.
