Rockhampton dual licensee disqualified for 12 months
22 October 2021
Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) stewards have handed down a 12-month disqualification to dual licensee Tasha Chambers for failing to provide a urine sample.
The Rockhampton licensed jockey and trainer was found guilty of AR139 after she failed to provide a urine sample as directed by the stewards at Longreach on 25 September.
Ms Chambers is not permitted to enter or start any horse in any race effective immediately and she has seven days to transfer horses out of her care.
Stewards have allowed Ms Chambers in the interim to continue to tend to the horses and their welfare.
At the end of the 12-month penalty Ms Chambers must provide a sample free of any banned substances before she can apply to be relicensed.
