Munce horse scratched from Eagle Farm after irregularities detected

Lady Brahmos has been scratched from race 7 at today’s Eagle Farm race meeting following a no notice stable inspection yesterday at the Eagle Farm stables of Thoroughbred Trainer Chris Munce.

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Integrity Investigations Team (IIT) inspection at the Munce stables allegedly found Lady Brahmos to have recently received an injection in contravention of the rules of racing.

Stewards will open an Inquiry into the alleged incident today and a swab sample has been taken from Lady Brahmos for analysis and from his runner Lucky Time engaged to run at the Gold Coast today as a precaution.
