Glint of Hope and Le Villi to be vetted before racing in the Queensland Oaks

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) veterinarians are completing the vetting of the thoroughbred runners in Saturday’s Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm.

As a result of the vetting process, the Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young trained Glint of Hope who is set to race in the Queensland Oaks was found to have minor heel pain, needing to be re-shod and will require a further vet inspection on Saturday prior to racing.

The Kris Lees trained Le Villi who is also set to race in the Queensland Oaks was found to be short striding in front and will also require a further vet inspection on Saturday prior to racing.
