Thoroughbred Racing Industry Notice: It’s time for jockeys and apprentice jockeys to book your annual cognitive test

All jockeys and apprentice jockeys are required to complete a mandatory annual cognitive (COG) test to remain licensed in Queensland.

From Monday, 1 July 2024, all jockeys and apprentice jockeys must call your local steward’s office to book an appointment to complete the test.

You must complete your test before Saturday 31 August, 2024 to ensure your licence remains current.
