Get involved in the GAP Participant Rehoming Program
The Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) is encouraging greyhound owners and trainers to get involved in their dogs’ rehoming journeys through the new Participant Rehoming Program (PRP).
The aim of the program is to rehome as many retired greyhounds as possible by allowing participants to rehome their dogs through their own kennels with the support of GAP.
How does the program work?
Step 1: Retire your greyhound – once greyhounds have been accepted on the program they must not race.
Step 2: Have your retired greyhound undergo the following procedures:
- Desexing
- Vaccinations
- Dental scale and polish
