QRIC Media Release: Chief Steward of Thoroughbreds reports from Winter Carnival

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Chief Steward of Thoroughbreds, Josh Adams, is engaging with participants and punters each weekend throughout the Winter Carnival 2023.

Ahead of Saturday race meetings, Mr Adams is sharing a morning track report video to QRIC’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The report provides racing participants with an insight into issues that QRIC stewards are focussing on at individual race meetings, as well as offering punters valuable information about track quality.

Mr Adams said that the videos are part of QRIC stewards’ efforts to further engage industry participants and the broader community.

“We are working to provide our community with better access to information around race meetings and stewards’ decisions,” he said.

“Further incorporating social media into our information-sharing efforts offers a window into the role of stewards at major racing events like Winter Carnival.”

The videos go live on QRIC Stewards Twitter account and the QRIC Facebook page every Saturday morning throughout Winter Carnival.
