Minks Star scratched from Eagle Farm Feature

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Stewards have scratched the Chris Anderson trained Minks Star from Race 7 at Eagle Farm today after suspected race day treatment.

A QRIC Integrity Investigations Team (IIT) inspection this morning found that the horse had allegedly been treated with a substance within one clear day of racing.

An inquiry commenced at Eagle Farm and stewards determined they were not satisfied that Minks Star had not been treated within the clear day rule and withdrew the horse from racing under AR 254(2).

The inquiry was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
