QRIC Stewards confirm David Smith trained greyhounds remain eligible to race

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Stewards have confirmed the David Smith trained greyhounds withdrawn at Albion Park last night remain eligible to race.

Prim and Proper, Classy Ethics, Super Estrella and Ice Cream Story were withdrawn from their races last night when Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied, they had not been treated in contravention of the rules of racing.

Stewards opened an Inquiry after interviewing Mr Smith and QRIC veterinarians.

Swab samples were taken from the greyhounds for analysis and the inquiry was adjourned to resume at a date to be fixed.
