Following further veterinary examinations this morning, prior to racing in today’s Magic Millions at the Gold Coast Turf Club, Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Stewards have advised:

Magic Millions 2YO Classic

Farnan – underwent a re-examination this morning and was passed fit to race.

The colt’s initial veterinary examination was conducted on Thursday.

Farnan was re-examined yesterday afternoon and showed significant improvement.

Magic Millions 3YO Guineas

Superium – was re-examined this morning and found to be lame in the near foreleg. He is a late scratching.

The horse was examined yesterday ,having arrived at the Gold Coast complex on Thursday after examinations had been conducted.

Superium’s scratching has resulted in Let it Pour (the 1st emergency) gaining a start.
