Revised thoroughbred arrival times for QLD feature races

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) advises that it has revised the extended arrival time that will apply to feature races

The new arrangements were introduced on 3 July 2019 as a trial and after review a more practical solution will now be in place and is effective immediately.

QRIC Chief Stipendiary Steward Peter Chadwick said the three hour rule will apply to all Group races with the exception of 2 year old races, all Provincial and Country races with prizemoney of $100K or above and any other selected race as advised by the Stewards.

When a race is selected by the Stewards, the Industry will be notified in the week preceding an affected race.
